Welcome to the online home of Outlook on health. We have been devoted to women's health and beauty issues for 20 years. In 1995, Outlook on health Magazine was born and distributed in print locally and nationally. Its focus has always been health promotion and prevention.
Outlook on health Communications also provides services to community-based non-profit organizations, faith-based organizations and other state and local government agencies by coordinating grant-funded health-wellness events that target inner-city neighborhoods. In addition, we are one of only a few international distributors of Aularale Cosmetics that supply products to both customers and Aularale consultants. Our distributorship is in its 20th year.
Ms. Willie Rose Haywood-Alexander, Owner/Publisher
After a successful nursing career, Ms. Haywood-Alexander completed her bachelor's degree in health education and administration and a master's degree in history and culture with a minor in health psychology. While in graduate school, she founded Outlook on health Communications. Her goal was to provide health promotion information to women through her magazine as a more innovative approach. In 1997, she brought Outlook on health to the web to extend her reach to women outside her local area.
In 2000, Ms. Haywood-Alexander was honored by Speaking of Women's Health for her advocacy work with disadvantaged women and teen girls. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Health Services with a specialization in Health Education and advocacy.
